To ensure maximum participation in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, ADC ( Jagraon ) – cum – Nodal Officer, SVEEP, Mrs. Neeru Katyal Gupta, at our request, decided to hold one Voter Awareness Campaign at the premises of our Day Care Centre on 15th of May, 2019.
It was a gesture move of the District Administration to choose our venue merely because the honorable ADC had a potential view of our premises being located in Vidhan Sabha Constituency Atam Nagar — 62. A large number of parliamentary election-related activities were performed by the attending staff on behalf of the District Administration led by S. Manjit Singh Cheema, PCS, Jt. Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana. The star artist, S. Balwant Singh, though a computer teacher at Govt.
High School, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana, with his melodious voice sang a song, especially sung by him, officially recorded at the Ishmeet Singh Music Academy at the instance of District Administration and accepted to be sung at all public meetings held by the ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA. Various types of banners and hoardings put by the District Administration gave a spectacular look to the venue. Prizes were distributed to the members answering correct answers to the quiz test thrown open on the subject of the history of holding elections in our country. The Dainik Savera team had also participated in their efforts to motivate voters to come out and must vote campaign and they had brought a huge blank hoarding for participants to put up their signatures thereon to express their solidarity that each of them will definitely go for casting their votes in large number with their friends and family members. Refreshments were also distributed on behalf of the DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION.
